Zagreb finest celebrate 40th anniversary with a London show
Many different countries around the World have their favorite bands, those ones that entire nations can identify, super popular whose shows sell out in matter of minutes.
Prljavo Kazaliste is a such band. Croatian rockers have reached the dizzy heights of rock stardom long time ago but that in now way suggests they are past their best. On a contrary, The Rolling Stones of Balkans are itching to hit the stage and get on with the program. Because that’s what they do. Play live to thousands. Make albums for whole nations. Because it’s in the blood. And 40 years of rocking and rolling does not change a damn thing.
And now it’s time for London. The band’s premier outing in the UK promises to be a real special occasion: 14 studio albums, 4 live albums and 3 compilations are a treasure chest of memories and those special moment waiting to be opened.
Well they will be opened on June 7th at the Clapham Grand. I for one cannot wait.
